I haven’t had a lot of luck with models I meet outside the normal channels (mainly through modelmayhem.com or referrals). Krystyna is one of the exceptions. I met her through Facebook and she really liked my work. She’d done some photoshoots with friends but I wouldn’t consider her a model. We had a very fun shoot though and got some lovely images. This is one of my favorites.It’s getting to the point where it’s harder to take chances on people who don’t have a fairly deep modeling portfolio. Most of the times it’s ended up with me wasting time or even film. But the few successes make me lean towards taking a few chances at least. I think Krystyna and I will be shooting again.
