Polaroid self portrait on my 46th birthday (today). Age is a weird thing. Most people who meet me guess I’m in my low or mid thirties. I don’t feel 46 but I know I am. Sometimes I wish I was 25 and knew what I know today. I’ve had a lot of wasted opportunities in my life. But I’m really glad I grew up when I did and experienced the things I have.These last few years have been pretty amazing. I never imagined that in my mid forties I’d start making art again and meet so many wonderful people. I’m very excited about what’s coming up, too. I have some great shoots lined up for December and January, and I’m hoping to do a book next year.
