Kelly is a model from Los Angeles that I’ve been dying to work with since I first saw her images. Besides the fact that she’s stunning, she also really loves making art, it comes across in her work. She loves film and Polaroids, and we’d been talking about shooting together for a while. She finally made it to town and we had a great shoot, it totally lived up to my very high expectations.Besides being a pretty badass model, Kelly’s also super fun. We laughed a lot. We actually ended up hanging out a couple of times after we shot, she had never been to Portland and we wandered around the city some. She has a pretty wicked sense of humor and she’s very down to Earth, not at all the stereotypical LA model/actress. I’m not sure if I can remember when I laughed that much.And we shot some lovely images, we were both really happy with how the Polaroids came out. I’m excited to share them with her and you all, too. I think they’re some of the stronger images in the series so far.
